Mary Ruth Collins

Mary Ruth Collins, 87, of Parkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Parkton, she was the daughter of the late Felix Reid Hill and Pearl Mae McMillan. She spent her life in the community she cherished, devoted to her family and guided by a quiet, steadfast faith.

Mary Ruth was the beloved wife of Arnold Collins. She is survived by her husband, Arnold; her two daughters, Cindy Heath and her husband Marvin, and Kathy Collins and her husband Joe; three grandchildren, David Heath and his wife Melissa, Dylan Heath, and Dakota Heath and his wife Jen; four great-grandchildren, Roland, Mila, Harper, and Micah; and her brother, Albert Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven siblings.

Those who knew her will remember Mary Ruth for the gentle strength and deep love she showed her family across four generations. Her quiet presence and enduring devotion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to be part of her life.
