Mary O'Neal Rogers Pinkney

Mary O'Neal Rogers Pinkney, 101, of Lebanon, Tennessee, and formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026. She found quiet joy in tending her garden and sewing quilts, pursuits that reflected her patient and creative spirit throughout her long life.

Born to Jim and Hugh Ella Rippy, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Pinkney, and her siblings, Rosa Nell, Lorene Harris, Eliza Jackson, Ruby Williams, Curtis Rippy, David Rippy, John Rippy, Cora Bell Morrow, Lawrence Rippy, and Elder Rippy.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, as well as dear friends Ozzie Barnes, Bessie Gamble, Susie Dye, Alfonzo Smith, and Larry Smith. She also leaves behind her step-daughter, Crystal Pinkney, and the devoted caregivers who became like family: Rosetta, Cathy Nelson, Pierre Lewis, Renee Sadler, the Hambrick Family, and Eric.
