It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Messman (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Delano and Florence "PeeWee" Delano (Huff); her brothers, Ricky Delano and George Delano; and her in-laws, Christine Messman, Dick Messman and Tootie Delano.

She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Stacy Lewis (Nathan) and Jesse Messman (Ashley); her grandchildren, Taylor Lewis (Zoee), Logan Lewis, Nathan Messman, Aidan Lewis and Madison Messman; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Nicholas Lewis; her siblings, Roy Delano Jr., Mike Delano (JoAnn), Helen DeBruin (Jim), David Delano and Larry Delano (Merry); and her siblings-in-law, Corrine Gosz (Tim), Cathy Uttecht (Dave), Fred Messman (Wynne) and Kelly Delano. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (2211 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
