Mary Joann Watson Matthews, age 95, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on March 9, 2026. She lived a long and full life surrounded by the love of her family.
She is survived by her children, Webb Matthews, Alice Erickson, Joseph Matthews, and William Matthews. Joann was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Thomas Earl Matthews, Sr., and their son, Thomas Earl Matthews, Jr. She cherished her large family, which included 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Her memory will remain a source of comfort and connection for all those whose lives she touched.
