Mary Lynn Grindley, 81, of Tilton, IL passed away at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL on March 5, 2026 at 6:32 PM.Mary was born on May 19, 1944 the daughter of LaVern and Vesta (Hibler) Wagner in Belvidere, IL. She married Donald Grindley on July 28, 1989 in Williamsport, IN and he survives.Survivors include her husband, Donald Grindley of Tilton, IL three children, Tami (Scottie) Hamlin of Danville, IL, Donnie (Amy) Grindley of Urbana, IL and Tim (Sandy) Cook of St Joseph, IL, six grandchildren, Brad (Mollie) Clifton, Corey Hamlin, Colin Bishop, Samantha (Brandon) Nance, Brittany Sherman and Mariah Sherman, as well as eleven great grandchildren, Kyler (Taryn) Clifton, Kamden Clifton, Kayleigh Clifton, Ryder Clifton, Chandler Clifton, Everleigh Clifton, Tabitha Nance, Savanah Nance, Kendra Sherman, Fay Sherman and Conner Sherman and one great great-grandson, Karson.Mary is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Todd Allen Cook, one daughter, Kendra Sherman and one sister, Letha Irwin.Mary retired from Hendrick House and enjoyed spending her free time watching HGTV and news programs.Private family services will be held and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangementsPlease join Mary's family in sharing memories, photos, and videos of her life through her tribute wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com .
