Married for more than 63 years, their love was eternalMary Lou was such a loving person. Outside of her husband, her next greatest love was her daughter, Stacie, born in 1968. She gained a son-in-law, Rick, in 1997. Her love for her family only heightened when her grandbaby Colton was born in 2000. Even though the two families lived cross-country, her desire to make Colton feel loved and for her to be present served as one of her top priorities. She was especially grateful to be present at his wedding to his wife, Alana, on August 3, 2023.Mary Lou will be remembered for being beautiful inside and out. Her infectious smile could light up any room and she was always dressed to the nines. She was the best wife, mom, granny and sister anyone could ask for.In addition to her beauty, Mary Lou was known for her loyalty, generosity, compassion and her abilities to make everyone feel included. It mattered to her to create a space for everyone to enjoy.Mary Lou was also a very artistic person, and her love for finding the beauty in everything permeated everything she touched. She had a love for anything that sparkled, and that was reflected in her personality. She had a deep love for jewels and jewelry. She also expressed her love through her cooking and baking. Her Christmas cookies, German chocolate cake and her fudge, you could taste the love - all in one perfect bite.She is preceded in death by her parents George and Stella (Lee) Keilmann and sisters Linda Gipson and Julie Kelly.Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Stanley Ross; daughter, Stacie (Ross) Berry and husband Rick; and grandson, Colton Berry, and wife Alana. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Sharon Mangold, Nancy Mutz and husband Bob, Peggy Smoot and husband Gary, and George Keilmann.A celebration of life will be held at Omega Church, 3737 Roosevelt Avenue, San Antonio 78124, at a later date.
