Born on June 28, 1940, in Kings Mountain, Kentucky to the late Jonas and Mamie Singleton Taylor. Mary Lou was a beacon of love and kindness, whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Robert A. "Bob" Duff, a granddaughter, Kristen Duff, a great grandson, Jaxx Leffew.Mary Lou was a graduate of Spencerian College of Business, a former member of Grace Baptist Church, and retired from Corning Glass.Mary Lou is survived by her three devoted sons, Rob E. (Diane) Duff of Corbin, Paul (Tootie) Duff of Stanford, and Darrin (Meghan) Duff of Stanford; grandchildren Alana (Charles) Pebley, Kimberly (Derrick) Leffew, Melissa (Bobby) Baker, Whitney Duff (Monty Britton), Jacob (Samantha) Duff, Jeremiah Duff, Clarice Duff and Noah Duff; great-grandchildren, Bryson Christopher Armstrong, Blake Gatliff, Cayden Moore, Shelby Brannan, Joey Hitchner, Dani Baker, Zachary Duff, Camri Baker, Maci Baker, Blake Duff, Jaxton Duff, Daxton Duff, Adalyn Duff, Jameson Duff, and Lucas Baker, and Great-Great grandson Bennett Armstrong.The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service. Brian Moore will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Point Cemetery, Kings Mountain, Kentucky. Donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.Mary Lou Duff will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
