Mary Lou Bender

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lou Bender of Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Rowan and Pauline Rowan (Slaughter); her husband John Bender; and her siblings, Tancy Carney and Jack Rowan.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Bender of Atlanta, GA and Gary Bender (Lori) of Rootstown; and her grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Bender. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel (1884 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
