Mary Linda Lowery Gay, age 79, of Belmont, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Born and raised in the South, Mary lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep faith, and a gentle love for animals. She found great joy in her family and in caring for the many pets that shared her home over the years. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate circle, as evidenced by her longtime support of causes close to her heart.
