Mary L Cline

Mary Lisbeth Cline, 90, of Woolrich, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home after a brief illness.

Born on December 15, 1935, in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, to Leroy R. Heverly and Cora Ellen Bower Heverly, Mary graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1953. She went on to earn her RN degree from Geisinger Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and practiced nursing at Jersey Shore Hospital. On May 17, 1958, she married Richard A. Cline of Woolrich. Mary found quiet joy in sewing, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, flower gardening, and caring for her pet cats. She was also a proud member of the Fort Antes Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca E. Cline of Woolrich, her granddaughter, Lori B. Zehr and Lori’s husband Samuel of Greenbelt, Maryland, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard and her five siblings: Donald Heverly, Richard Heverly, Byron Heverly, Martha McGill and her husband Harold, and Ruth Overdorf and her husband Lee.

Mary will be laid to rest at the Jersey Shore Cemetery in accordance with her wishes.
