Mary L. Arledge

Mary L. Arledge, age 80, of South Bloomfield and formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home. Born on July 10, 1945, in Bremen, to Roy and Ollie (Lovsey) Wolfe, Mary graduated from Fairfield Union High School with the class of 1964. She was a warm and sociable woman who cherished time spent with her family and friends. She found quiet joy in working puzzles and crosswords and loved watching classic Westerns.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Bill Darnell) Arledge of South Bloomfield; grandchildren Clayton Arledge, Cassandra (Mitchell) Gray, and Chanc Holleran; and great-grandchildren Annabelle Gray, Aiden Holleran, Malachi Gray, Emberlyn Gray, and Layton Arledge. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marion “Moe” Arledge; her son, Michael Arledge; and her sisters, Jesse Chancey and Stella LeFever.

Mary will be remembered for her friendly spirit and the gentle way she held her family close throughout her life.
