The daughter of Albert and Mary Stumpf, Mary was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1933. While raising her family of seven children, Mary went on to become a teacher's aide at the Norman A. Bleshman School that educated students with multiple disabilities. Mary worked at the Bleshman School for over 25 years. After her retirement, Mary became more active at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish in Ridgewood, working in various parish ministries such as Lector, Eucharist Minister, Martha's Ministries as well as working in the parish office.Mary was the wife of Richard for 71 blessed years, mother of Maureen (Rick Kinne), R.J. (Debbie), Sheila (Jamie Scheuermann), Tim (Honey), Monica, Matt (Tish) and Pat (Jennifer) grandmother of Peter Sheuermann (Sara), Kristine (Tim Leary), Zachary Sheuermann (Devonne), Katie (Dan Cooke) Jenna (Cody Conklin), Matthew Ramge, Carly (Abdi Gelati), Lauren Ward, Kerrigan (David Falcones), Tim Ramge, Ryan Ramge, Hayley Ramge, Mollie (Matt Halderman), Sara Ramge, Dan Ramge, Lizzie Ramge and Leah Ramge;. Great grandmother to Liana, Abbey, Emma, Avery, Ainsley, Madison, Rhylan and Lainey.Mary aka Grandma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending sporting events, dance recitals or other special events some times traveling great distances to provide support. She had the ability to make each one feel special and loved individually. These individual relationships are cherished by all and Grandma's legacy will live on and the memories shared with Grandma will have a special place in everyone's heart. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and ability to break into song at any given moment.The family will receive friends at the Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood from 3p.m.-7PM on March 12th. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Ridgewood at 10:00 a.m. on March 13th. Burial will be at George Washington Cemetery.
