Mary Biediger ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Jones Funeral Home - Winchester on Mar. 17, 2026.Mary Jo Clark Biediger, 86, of Parkersburg, WV passed away on February 22, 2026 at the Wyngate Senior Living Community.She was born October 6, 1939 in Gore, VA, eldest daughter of the late Alva James ('Joe') Kerns and Violet Clark Kerns.Mary is survived by her children, Marlene Sterrick (Dan) and Michael Biediger (Karen); grandchildren, Chris Biediger (Arisara), Courtney Schneider (Jacob), and Luke Biediger; great grandson; Austin Schneider; her sisters; Patricia Lawrence and Barbara Abrell (Larry) as well as many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Melvin (Tex) Biediger.Mary and Melvin enjoyed gardening, canning and hosting family gatherings. Mary was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Winchester until she moved to Parkersburg in 2023.Services will be held at 11am in the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester on March 20, 2026 with Pastor Sonya Williams Giersch officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
