She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Victor and Charlotte Weir Jennison; her husband Melvin Smith; her brothers, Robert, David and William Jennison; and her grandson Robert Henry Bissell.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Bissell (Henry) of Sandy Springs, GA, Susan Scarrozzo (Bill) of Berlin, CT, Robert M. Smith of Hartford, CT, Mary Smith Parker of Charleston, SC and Julia Smith (Michael Monsour) of Wyomissing, PA.; her grandchildren, Charlotte Garner (Zack), Sarah Everett (Ross), Christopher Bissell (Carrie), David Birdsall (Kristine), Emily Saifan (Sami), Kristi Scarrozzo (Joe), Jay Scarrozzo (Neera), Kenneth Smith (Jaclyn), Katherine Smith, Benjamin Parker (Symone), Adam Parker, Ethan Parker, Paul Monsour and Mary Monsour; her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Brynn Birdsall, Mary Claxton, Hadley, Rosie Garner, Anika, Ishana, Anish Scarrozzo, Anniston, Lainey, Bennett Everett, Eloise and Bella Saifan; her sister-in-law Beverly Jennison; and her many New England. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at 300 Johnson Ferry Rd, Atlanta, GA 30328. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rocky Hill Congregational Church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in her name to the RHCC, 805 Main Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
