Mary Jean Yonke

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jean Yonke of Zion, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Romano and Jennie Romano; her husband Paul James Yonke of Zion; her grandson John; her great grandchild Jackson; and her daughter-in-law Karen Yonke (David).

She is survived by: her son James Yonke (Joyce) of Zion; her grandchildren, Joseph, James, Justin, Jillian, Jared and Jacob; her son Steve Yonke (Debbie); her grandchildren, Aubrey, Stephanie and Allie; her son Peter (Georgann) of Naples; her grandchildren, Eleia, Andrew, Maia and David Yonke; her great grandchildren, Julia, Matthew, Jonathan and Kristina; and her sisters, Jackie Gallo (Gino) and Angela Gemignani (Ralph).

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Christ Community Church (2500 Dowie Memorial Dr, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
