Mary Jane Williams Fox

Mary Jane Williams Fox, 74, of Clanton, Alabama, passed away on March 9, 2026, at her residence.

Born on June 8, 1951, in Alabama, she was the daughter of the late E.C. Williams and the late Annie Delene Culp Williams. Mary Jane worked as a clerk for the Chilton Water Authority, serving her community with quiet dedication for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Fox (Shane) Childress and Amy Fox (Onye Pamasa) Smith; her grandchildren, Maverick Fox Barnett, Hayden C. Smith, Farrah M. Jones, Jasper Monroe Fox, and Harper Fox Childress; her brother, Ricky Cahalane; her aunt, Ethel Ousley; and a host of other family members who held her dear.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Monroe Fox. She will be remembered for the steady love she gave her family and the gentle strength she showed throughout her life.
