Mary Jane Pilsner, 81, of Delaware, passed away early Saturday morning, March 14, 2026. She was born on May 31, 1944, in Beloit, Wisconsin, to the late George and Gertrude (McComb) Case.
On May 7, 1966, Mary married the love of her life, Robert Pilsner, in Beloit. The couple welcomed their son, Kevin, in 1973. In 1987, they moved to Delaware, Ohio, where Bob opened Pilsner’s 5 and Dime downtown. Mary was a devoted and faithful wife and mother, as well as an active member of the Delaware community and St. Mary Catholic Church. She held various jobs throughout her life, formed many lasting friendships, and was known for her youthful spirit and wonderful sense of humor. In her later years, she spent six happy years at WillowBrook at Delaware Run, where she made new friends and embraced her artistic and creative side through art and music classes.
Mary is survived by her son, Kevin (Sarah) Pilsner of Delaware; her brother, Robert (Mary Ann) Case; her nephews, Rob Case, Ron (Colleen) Case, Bernie (Judy) Pilsner, and many other nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, in addition to her parents.
