Mary Heidinger ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Fremont Memorial Chapel on Mar. 16, 2026.Obituary For Mary Jane HeidingerMary Jane Heidinger, 76, of Fremont, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on February 25, 2026 at Fremont Kaiser Hospital after a 12 year battle with multiple myeloma.She was born in Elmira, New York on November 15, 1949 to Paul and Rosemary (Kabat) Seymour. In 1950 they moved to Alameda where Paul was stationed in the US Navy. She and her family moved to Fremont in 1958 where she lived the rest of her life. She attended Washington High School her first 2 years and graduated at Kennedy High School in 1967. After graduating high school she worked at Pacific Bell for about 25 years. In 1976 she met the love of her life, Orvin, and they married 6 months later on February 5, 1977 in Lodi where Orvin was raised. Her passion in life was her family and pets. She was involved with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports as she was their biggest fan and never missed a game. Her hobbies were trips to Santa Cruz, playing cards, gardening, and watching Raiders and Yankees games.Mary is survived by her husband of 49 years Orvin, daughters: Kelly Flores (Mauricio), and Stacey Tovar, grandchildren: Darrion Heidinger, Jesse Henschel and Deven Tovar and brother Danny Seymour (Darlene).A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 25, at 12:00 p.m. at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd Fremont CA.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
