Mary Jane (née McLaughlin) Galantino, age 88, of Morton, Pennsylvania made a peaceful transition on March 15th surrounded by her children. She was passionate about family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in Delaware County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Louis James Galantino and enjoyed many years of adventures while raising their four children together. Jane graduated in 1955 from Notre Dame, Moylan and was a resident of Morton for 55 years. She had a love of traveling and cultivated this in her children. As a Realtor and member of the Suburban West Realtors Association, she enjoyed connecting with the community. Jane was also a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton, where she was active in the Hope Ministry.
Jane was the beloved mother of Michael (Angela) of Berwyn, Mary Lou of Delaware, Karen (Frank) Daly of Havertown, and Krista (Matt) Kraybill of New Jersey. She was also a loving and strong grandmother to Michael (Gabrielle), Meghan (Kenny), Isabella (Greg), Alex, Sophia, Colin (Lara), Madi, Brendan, Danny, Andrew, Ava, and Elaina. Jane cherished the growth of family to the next generation of great-grandchildren: Anna Kay, Giovanna Rose, Eleanor Rae, and Willa Jane.
