Mary Jane Fallon

1933 — 2026

Hamburg, NY

Mary Jane Fallon, née Bade, known affectionately as “Janie” to her family and friends, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on June 18, 1933, she was a lifelong resident of the Hamburg and Eden area of New York. She was the beloved wife of the late William Fallon Sr. and the dear sister of the late Viola “Dolly” Reinhard.

Janie lived a life rooted in deep faith and quiet devotion to God, her family, and her community. She cherished her role as wife, mother, and grandmother above all else, offering her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews unwavering love, daily prayers, and the comfort of the rosary. An Eden High School graduate of the Class of 1951, she later worked as a secretary at Westinghouse, a sales clerk at the Outdoor Store, and as head cook and manager of the Eden School cafeteria. She was also an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society at SS. Peter and Paul Church.

She is survived by her adoring children, William (Joyce) Fallon Jr. and Joyce (Kenneth) Callahan; her loving grandchildren, Billy (Andrea), Janelle, Fallon (Nate), Kenneth (Makaila), and Jordan (Leah); her great-grandchild, Myla; and her sister-in-law, Shirley Beale. After residing for six years at the Sowles Road Elm Senior Apartments in Hamburg, she recently moved to Connecticut to be near her children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her gentle and selfless spirit.
