Mary Huninghake, 71, of Atchison, Kansas, died Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Born March 5, 1955, in Atchison, she was the daughter of Gene and Ruth (Baker) Marshall. Mary attended Washington and Franklin Schools and graduated from Atchison High School. On March 5, 2013, she married Lyle Huninghake in Atchison.
She worked for Pamida and later Orschelns. Mary found quiet joy in watching television, listening to music, and playing BINGO on her phone.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle Huninghake; two sons, Mike (Dawn) Frad and Richard Frad; three brothers, Bill Griffin, Jim Griffin, and Ron Marshall; twenty grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert Griffin, Gene Marshall, and Lester Marshall.
