She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Ponce and Jennie Ponce (DeLuna); her daughter Rita Vieyra; her siblings, Robert Ponce (Dorothy), Tony Ponce (Judy), Hope Jamsay and Michaelene Miller (Jerry); and her grandparents, Luis, Nicolasa Ponce, Petra and R. C. Hernandez.

She is survived by: her husband George Vieyra; her son Greg Vieyra (Marlene); her grandchildren, Lacey Fox (Patrick), Nathan Vieyra (Shawnae), Erin Vieyra and Jeremy Saenz (Lexie); her siblings, Mary Donna Sanchez, Elizabeth Perez (Art), Sue Tridle (Larry), Debra Cano, Janet Parkhurst (Lars), Randy Ponce and Tim Ponce; and her aunt Mary Ponce Carreras. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Odean Colonial Chapel (302 S Sycamore St, North Platte, NE 69101). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (415 N Chestnut St, North Platte, NE 69101). A burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the North Platte Cemetery (811 W Rodeo Rd Ave, North Platte, NE 69101).
