Mary Helen Priset

Mary Helen Priset (Lefler) of Rochester passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford “Lee” Priset; her daughter, Kimberly Priset; her parents, Edward and Mary Helen Lefler; and her siblings, Edward R. Lefler, Kay Dunigan, Jane Cody, and Walt Lefler.

Mary Helen spent many years as a dedicated employee of Wegmans, where she played a key role in launching the Pizza Kitchen at the Hylan Drive store. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and extended family, and she found great joy in bowling. She participated in her women’s league on Monday nights and the Moose mixed league on Fridays alongside her husband and children. A founding member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1998, she remained active and connected with her community and many dear friends throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Christine (Kareem Patterson) Tam and Michael (Brittney Pender) Priset; her grandchildren, Joshua (Sonja), Justine, Madison, McKenna, and Mya; her great-grandchildren, Makai, Liam, and Grayson; her siblings, Peggy (Mike) Capuano and Jim (Kathy) Lefler; her sisters-in-law, Betsy and Debbie Lefler; and many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
