Mary Helen Frederick, 77, of Wake Forest, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2026, at The Lodge at Wake Forest.
Born to the late Myrle and Willie B. Bullock, Mary was a devoted wife to her husband Ronald Frederick of Wake Forest. She was the loving mother of daughters Jennifer Elliott and her husband Wesley of Rolesville, and Jessica Shaver and her husband David of Evans, Georgia. She cherished her grandchildren Victoria Mann (Alex), Lauren Williams (Wade), Chandler Armstrong (Morgan), Sarah Shaver, Andrew Shaver, Alyssa Elliott, and Michael Shaver, as well as her great-grandson Theodore Mann. She is also survived by her sister Donna Horne (Rick) and nephew Alex Horne.
Mary attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and worked for many years in accounting as a loss prevention specialist. She possessed a deep love for music, particularly southern gospel, and found great joy in playing the piano and singing. Highly creative, she was skilled at knitting and crocheting, often sharing her talents by making a blanket for each of her grandchildren. She treasured gathering with her family during the holiday seasons.
She will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the quiet ways she expressed her love for those closest to her.
