Mary Flores ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba on Mar. 17, 2026.Mary FloresMarie (Mary) Cantu Flores, born August 1, 1943, to Santos and Lupe Cantu, passed away on March 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.Mary married her loving spouse, Thomas Flores, in October of 1962, and together they built a life centered on family.She is survived by her husband, Thomas Flores; her daughters, Sara (Richard) Huron and Diana (Kevin) McKenna; her grandchildren, Brannon (Leah) Huron and Brittany (Justin) Blackburn; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Presli and Layni Blackburn. In addition to her family, she was deeply loved by two special girls, Addy and Emmerson Easterwood, who she had the joy of caring for over the years, and became family to her. She is also survived by her siblings, Tony Cantu, Manuel Cantu, Susanna Lowe, and Yolanda Jimenez.She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her siblings Richard Cantu, Lucia Luna, Lydia Smith, Josie Harlan, and Sulema Orr.Mary was known for her immense kindness and warm spirit, touching the lives of everyone she met. Above all else, she cherished her family and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.She will be remembered for her loving heart, her quick wit, and the many lives she brightened through her laughter and kindness. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.A Rosary will be held from 5:00p.m. – 6:00p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2026 with a Visitation to follow from 6:00p.m. – 7:00p.m., at Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba. Funeral Service will be held 2:00p.m., March 20, 2026 at Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba and will be officiated by Deacon Joe Bermea.
