Mary Ellen Gibeault

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Gibeault of Conway, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis M. Nagy and Marion E. Nagy (Thomas). She is survived by: her children, Debra Ann (Roger Mayberry) of Conway, Sherry Ann (Jerry Looman) of Summerville and Rene Michael Gibeault (James Mazur) of Naples, Florida.; her grandchildren, Matthew, Jason Lutjen, Kelsi Noel, Andrew, Erin Holl and Christian Daley; and her siblings, Betty Jane, William Holbrook of Madison, Alabama, Edith Ann Jacques of Saline, Michigan, Louis M. Jr. and Violet Nagy of Baldwinsville, NY. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (105 Cornell Ave, Massena, NY 13662). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLoud Health Hospice of Loris, SC, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
