Mary Elizabeth Warren
November 29, 1963— March 11, 2026
Ridgely, TN
Mary Elizabeth Warren of Ridgely passed away on March 11, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Ridgely. Born on November 29, 1963, to the late Rev. Goble Wiggins, Sr. and Brenda Blackley Wiggins, she was a lifelong resident of Lake County.
Over the years she worked as a housekeeper for Gray’s Camp and as a store clerk for several local businesses. She and her family were active members of Phillippy Baptist Church, where she helped teach Sunday School. Her faith remained central to her life; she loved singing gospel songs and participating in worship services, even while living in the nursing home. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with the babies in her family.
Mary is survived by her husband, Michael Warren; her son, Michael Allen Warren; her brothers, Goble Wiggins, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Michael Wiggins; her sisters, Janet Gillihan and Jennifer Burks and her husband Kyle; and her beloved granddaughter Kailee Warren, who knew her as “Nanny,” along with her three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bobby Wiggins, her sister Theresa Wiggins, and her granddaughter Emily Warren.
