She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Byford and Julia Byford; and her sister Rubye. She is survived by: her husband Rondel "Ronnie" Mason; her children, Amanda Bowling (James), Lori Arrington (Chris) and Chris Mason (Terrie); and her brothers, Joe Byford (Ramona) and Ray Byford (Addy). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
