Mary Delia Ruiz

Mary Delia Ruiz, born on November 12, 1944, to Ramon S. and Rosa (Mauricio) Ruiz, was the founder and beloved pastor of Faith Family Life Church. A dedicated servant of God, she spent more than forty years in ministry, preaching the gospel, mentoring others, and faithfully serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Known for her inspiring sermons and unwavering faith, Pastor Delia transformed the lives of many and stood as a pillar of strength for those facing difficult times.

She was called home on March 8, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Rosa Ruiz, and her brothers, Juan Ruiz and George Ruiz.

Mary Delia Ruiz is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Damacio Ruiz; her children, Joann Perez (Joe) and Rosie Garcia; eight grandchildren, Andrew Gutierrez, Jason Chabera, Matthew Gutierrez, Vanessa Chabera, Joshua Chabera, Alyssa Perez, Melanie Perez, and Kimberly Perez; sixteen great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Arturo (Mary) Ruiz, Gloria Ruiz Schmidt, and Amelia R. Bartlett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a congregation that cherished her deeply.
