With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Coghlan of Weymouth, Massachusetts, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on February 25, 2026 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Coghlan and Helen Coghlan (Callahan); and her siblings, Claire Gavin and Edward Coghlan (Buddy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home (134 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Parish (234 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery (234 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190).
