She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlin Jackson Lanier and Frances Emma Gable Lanier; her husband Clarence Doyce Wood; and her son James "Jimbo" Douglas Wood. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Quehl (Malcolm); her grandchildren, Ethan Quehl, Reese Quehl and Jeffery Wood; and her great grandchild Ezra Quehl.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
