Ranellucci, Mary C.COLONIE - Mary C. Ranellucci passed away on March 12, 2026. Mary was born on March 28, 1949, in Albany, N.Y., beloved daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (Piazza) Gallucci. Mary was the youngest of her siblings, James (Elizabeth) Gallucci and Louis (late Georgiana) Gallucci.Mary is survived by her husband, Ronald Ranellucci; and their six children, Ronald Ranellucci Jr., Vikki (Domonick) Ogborn, Lisa (David) Nicklaus, Michael Barton (Claudia Miranda), Kristen (Shaun) Parent, Daniel (Bethany) Barton; and her adored and cherished grandchildren, Alicia Barton, Michael Ogborn, Sophia Nicklaus, Jackson Nicklaus, Ryan Barton, Emma Barton, Cameron Parent, Carter Parent, and Cashius Parent. Mary was predeceased by her granddaughters, Alexandria Mavis Barton and Lauren Suzanne Barton.Mary graduated Cardinal McCloskey High School in 1967. She worked at the James Messina Insurance Agency for many years. Mary shared more than 40 years of unwavering love and devoted marriage with her husband - a partnership built on laughter, resilience, and the kind of companionship that grows deeper with every season of life. Together, they created a home where love was abundant, where memories were made effortlessly, and where every challenge was met hand-in-hand. Mary devoted her life to caring for the people she loved most, especially her cherished grandchildren who brought her endless joy.Mary had a "ready at a moment's notice" spirit. Whether it was a spontaneous beach escape or a flight to Las Vegas, she was always packed and prepared for adventure. She loved the thrill of the casino, chasing jackpots with a sparkle in her eye and an instinct that always told her exactly when "to hold 'em."Mary was the life of the party; you could always find her on the dance floor, waving her napkin with laughter and joy. Her energy was infectious, her presence unforgettable. Her happiest days were spent traveling, golfing, playing cards, cheering at the horse races, and surrounding herself with family and friends. But one of Mary's greatest joy was hosting those she loved - filling her home with warmth, conversation, and the aroma of her famous, much-requested spaghetti sauce.Mary's departure leaves a profound and aching void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her spirit, kindness, and her unwavering love and devotion to her family and friends will leave a mark forevermore.
