Mary C. Hessler

Mary C. Hessler, née Hovencamp, aged 81, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Finneytown, Ohio. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Earl Hessler, with whom she shared 62 devoted years of marriage.

Mary was a loving mother to her sons Rick (Anna Hill) Hessler, Ron (Sharon) Hessler, and Bill (Maricar Avecilla) Hessler. She cherished her role as grandmother to Julia, Jacob, Joshua, and Waylon Hessler. She is also survived by her sisters Barbara (the late Gary) Cornell and Vicki (the late John) Schnure, her brother Robert M. Hovencamp, and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Wilma K. Hovencamp.

A lifelong person of faith, Mary was a member of both Forest Dale Church of Christ and Lockland Christian Church. She found great joy in sewing and gardening, pursuits that reflected her creative and nurturing spirit.

She will be remembered with deep affection by her family for the steady love and quiet strength she brought to their lives.
