Mary Baire

Mary Carol Baire (Carnes), 78, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on February 26, 2026. Born on April 3, 1947, in Madison, West Virginia, she was the only child of Lloyd Carnes and Minnie Hager.

A devoted matriarch, Mary Carol spent her life caring for her family and friends with warmth, love, and quiet strength. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, lighting up any room with her infectious smile and gentle sense of humor. She never met a stranger and was known for her comforting hugs and generous spirit. She found great joy in cooking, reading, and simply being surrounded by those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-in-law, Dawn. Mary Carol is survived by her children, Jack and Nichole; her grandchildren, Adam, Daisy, Abigail, Corey, Ashley, Alesha, Chelsea, and Sarah; her great-grandchildren, Tylan, Alexander, Jackson, Owen, and Liam; and many extended family members, friends, and co-workers.

Her memory and the affection she so freely gave will live on in all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
