Mary B. Stillion

Mary B. Stillion, age 79, of Senecaville, passed away on March 12, 2026, at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center. Born in Guernsey County on March 24, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Reid and Juanita (Menzie) Buckey.

Mary was a devoted homemaker and a talented seamstress whose hands were rarely idle. She found deep joy in caring for her plants and flowers, and she loved to travel, cook, and attend her grandchildren’s activities. Above all, she cherished her family and the simple, lasting moments spent with them.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Virgil B. “Butch” Stillion; her children, Angela (Tom) Hannon of Senecaville, Timothy B. (Lisa) Stillion of Senecaville, Carena (Thomas) Byrd of Savannah, Georgia, and Travis B. (Keri) Stillion of Prospect; her siblings, Richard Reid and John (Pon) Reid; nine grandchildren, Mary, Shawn, Evan, Brady, Isaiah (Andrea), Greta, Ayla (Bennett), Sommer (Ethan), and Jack; four great-grandchildren, Kendalynn, Elijah, Cooper, and Atticus; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Long.
