Mary Fabian ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home - Summit on Mar. 8, 2026.Mary Himmel Fabian passed away peacefully at home following a long illness on Saturday, March 7, 2026.She was born in Flushing, NY on July 30, 1951 to Frank and Kathleen Himmel (Daly)(both deceased). She attended St. Michaels grammar school and graduated from Mater Christi High School in Astoria, NY in 1968.Mary then pursued a nursing career and graduated with an R.N. degree from St. Vincent's Hospital nursing school in June of 1971. She became an emergency room nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital in Greenwich Village from July 1971 until July 1977. During this time she also earned a B.A. from Marymount Manhattan College in June of 1975.Mary was an avid reader. She loved the adventure of travelling and shared many trips with her family to Europe, Alaska, and the Caribbean. She was always willing to help any of her many friends at a moment's notice.Mary was a dedicated wife and mother, and was deeply invested in her children's lives. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years (Dennis), and her three daughters, Elizabeth Fabian (Giacomo Landi) New Canaan, Ct, Lauren Fabian (Justin Siegel) Westport, Ct, and Caitlin Fabian, Norwalk, Ct. Mary is also survived by one sister, Kathy Gill (Kevin) Sarasota, Fl, and predeceased by her sister Theresa Fabian (Christopher) Sea Girt, NJ.She has 5 loving grandsons, James, Samuel, and Charles Landi, and Maxwell and Linus Siegel.
