She worked in the housekeeping department of Hubbard Hospital until she was blessed to be a stay at home mom. She provided baby-sitting for family and neighbors before going back to work at Huron County Medical Care Facility, where she worked as a dietary-aide until her retirement. Mary Ann enjoyed baking various treats for others to enjoy, as well as tending to her many flower and vegetable gardens for years, to then do the long hours of prepping and canning their harvest of fruits and vegetables. Mary Ann enjoyed having her grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit and watching them participate in their many school activities. After losing her sight, she spent much of the last 20 years making rosaries with her husband and daughter Mary Kay, listening to daily prayer services on TV, saying many, many rosaries daily for all family members, listening to polkas and country music, and was always willing to still dance an oberek or waltz when asked. She was the most kind hearted, caring, sympathetic, sweet, non-judgmental, generous, happy, smiley, fun, humble, and loveable lady.
