She Was Born On January 27, 1957, In Atlanta, Georgia At Grady Hospital To The Late Gene Zeigler And Agnes Mae Sanders Zeigler.Mary Was The Eldest Daughter Among Five Siblings: James, Williams, Agnes Mae, Annie, And Pamela. Being The Oldest Girl In The Family, She Understood Early The Responsibility Entrusted To Her By Her Parents. While They Worked To Provide, Mary Lovingly Helped Care For The Home And Her Siblings. Today, Her Sister Pamela Remains As Her Only Living Sibling.Mary Was Educated In The Atlanta Public School System And Was A Proud Graduate Of George High School. She Was United In Marriage To Her Loving Husband And Best Friend, Henry Norwood, Who Preceded Her In Death. Their Bond Was One Of Love, Companionship, And Friendship.Mary Built A Strong And Dependable Career In High-Volume Retail. She Worked With Dedication At J. C. Penney And Later With Civilian Affairs At The Fort McPherson Army Base Surplus Retail Stores. Known For Her Work Ethic And Reliability, She Carried The Same Care Into Her Professional Life That She Gave Her Family. From Childhood, Mary Was Grounded In Faith. She Was Reared In Mount Nebo Baptist Church, Where She Developed Her Love For The Lord And For Church Fellowship. Her Faith Remained An Important Part Of Her Life As She Grew, And Joined Liberty Tabernacle Outreach Ministries (Stone Mountain, GA), She Enjoyed Attending Church Outings And Trips To Alabama, Spending Time In Fellowship, And Shopping With Family And Friends. Later In Life, Mary Faithfully Attended Sounds Of Deliverance Church With Her Beloved Sister Pamela Until Illness Prevented Her From Continuing To Attend.Though Mary Never Had Children Of Her Own, She Was A Motherly Presence To Many. She Was A Devoted Caregiver To Her Siblings, Nephews, And Nieces. Mary Made Birthdays Special, Created Fun Outings, And Kept Her Nieces And Nephews Entertained While Their Parents Worked. Her Home Was Known As The House With The Door Always Open, A Place Of Warmth, Laughter, And Comfort. Mary Often Adjusted Her Own Work Schedule To Ensure Her Family Had The Care And Support They Needed. When Mary's Health Began To Fail, The Caregiver Who Had Spent Her Life Caring For Others Became The One In Need Of Care. In A Beautiful Turn Of Love And Devotion, Her Family Surrounded Her With The Same Compassion She Had Always Given Them.
