Mary Ann L. Thomas, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born on November 25, 1932, she lived a life defined by dedication, love, and steadfast commitment to her family and community.

Mary Ann began her career at Illinois Bell Telephone before stepping away to focus on raising her children. She later brought her warmth and strong work ethic to Jewel Foods and retired from Kmart. The youngest of ten siblings, she was preceded in death by her parents and her nine brothers and sisters: Edward, Henry, James, Robert, Joseph, Ernest, Bernadette, Rita, and Julian.

She was the beloved wife of George S. Thomas, sharing 70 years of marriage with him. Mary Ann was the loving mother of Debra (Andrew) Paul and George J. (Carol) Thomas. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Alyssa (Robert) Schnorenberg, Stephanie (Glenn) Frazee, George M. (Merry) Thomas, and Nicole (Kyle) Struble, as well as her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob, Logan, Carolynne, Ayden, Lyla, and Madison. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will remember her kindness and generosity.
