Born in Wilkensburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Schrott) Friend.Mary Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Woodstown Brick & Supply in Alloway for many years. Outside of work, she thoroughly enjoyed snow skiing and traveled all over the world pursuing her love of the sport. She also enjoyed playing a little golf and spending time crocheting.She is survived by her devoted husband of seventy-three years, James; her two daughters, Jennifer Kuty and Deborah Freels; two grandchildren, Dawn Hill (Roger) and James Freels III (Cheryl); four great-grandchildren, Jacob Doskeland, Justina Hill, James Freels IV, and Jessica Freels; and one great-great-grandson, Ezekiel Doskeland.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother.A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Lawnside Cemetery at 11 AM.
