Mary Ann Krygiel

Mary Ann Krygiel (née Dankiw), of Edgewater, Maryland, and formerly of East Norriton, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on October 28, 1945, in Haltern, Germany, to Ukrainian parents John and Anna (née Kobylniak) Dankiw, she was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Krygiel, Sr.

Mary was a devoted mother to her children: the late Krissy Krygiel Evans, Richard J. Krygiel, Jr. (Mary), the late Robert Krygiel, and Joseph Krygiel (Colleen). She is survived by her grandchildren Zachary Krygiel (Lily), Ella Krygiel, Lauren Evans, Mark Evans, Andrew Evans, Scott Evans, Calvin Krygiel, and Evelyn Krygiel, as well as great-grandchildren James Krygiel and Marshall Krygiel. She is also survived by her sister Stella Dankiw (Steve), brother John Dankiw, Jr. (Nancy), sister-in-law Jane Krygiel, son-in-law Steven Evans, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

An avid gardener, Mary found deep satisfaction in every aspect of nature, from the first light of dawn to the colors of sunset. She took great pride in creating a warm and loving home for her family, where she could often be found crocheting or tending to her beloved plants. She cherished life’s simple moments and found quiet joy in caring for those she loved. A longtime member of St. Titus Church, Mary lived with gentle strength and quiet devotion to her family and faith.
