It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Koski (Essex, Maryland), who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Vernon Lacy Holt; and her parents, Vernon Lee Holt and Minnie Hazel Holt. She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Jean Sitar, Hazel Marie Mellett, Judith Ann Aburn, Mark Andrew Koski and Robert Alan Koski; her grandchildren, Heidi Watts, Gary Mellett, III, Rick Corsa, Jay Aburn, Mark Koski, Jr., Josh Mellett, Katelynn Koski, Shelby Opitz, Robert Koski, Jr., Brittney Koski, Candace Mellett, Bryson Bova, Kayla Koski and McKenna Koski; her great grandchildren, Ayla Watts, Paige Watts, Aiden Corsa, Carter Aburn, Zabry Aburn, Rory Mellett, Beverly Mellett and Barrett Bova; and her siblings, Linda Jean Kopajtic and Timothy Blane Holt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home (1407 Old Eastern Ave, Essex, MD 21221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
