Mary Ann Gary

Mary Ann Gary, 84, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2026, in Houston. Born on July 7, 1941, to Joe Bailey and Carolyn Aubrey in Houston, she lived a joyful and spirited life filled with the things that brought her happiness.

She especially loved dancing, playing bingo, and spending cherished time with her grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and fun-loving nature touched everyone who knew her.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, Michael Gary, and his wife, Beatrice Gary, of Houston; her sister, Sammie Jo Haynes of Houston; and her two beloved grandchildren, Brandon Gary and Aubrey Gary. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reginald Linn Gary; her brother, James “Scoot” Aubrey; and her parents, Joe Bailey and Carolyn Aubrey.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
