Mary Ann Dwyer, 84, passed away on January 21, 2026 in Gold River, California. Born in Brooklyn, New York to a close-knit Italian family, Mary Ann possessed a lifelong passion for travel and discovery. For fifty years she worked in the travel and tourism industry, founding MAC Travel Adventures and leading small group tours around the world. Through her work she helped countless people experience different cultures, lands, and traditions, turning travel dreams into cherished memories.
She lived in New York, Wisconsin, and California, and spent many years in Easton, Pennsylvania, where she raised her family and served as Director of Tourism for Bethlehem, the “Christmas City.” Mary Ann had a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a special gift for bringing people together to share good food and meaningful time in one another’s company.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Robert Livingston Coe, and her daughters Lee Ann (Charles) Mahla, Elaine (Allen) Jones, and Adrienne Dwyer. She was predeceased by her beloved son Patrick Dwyer and by the father of her children, Jeremiah J. Dwyer. Mary Ann leaves behind six loving grandchildren: Dana, Erin, Madeline, Trey, Sayaka, and Kenny.
A celebration of her life will take place in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in April 2026.
