We are very sad to announce that Mary Ann Conlon of Manotick passed away on March 4, 2026. She was 81 years old. Mary Ann was: the loving wife of Paul; the loving mother of Martin, Annamarie (Brad Gutoske), Laura Grace, Margaret Mary and Elizabeth Ann (erstwhile, Ben Sajo); the loving grandma of Ella, Annastasia, Nathaniel and Zachary Gutoske; the loving sister of Barbara (Ed Pulscher) and Delia (Steve Splan); the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews; and, the loving Godmother of many. A deeply spiritual soul and a devoted, life-long follower of Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic tradition, she will be remembered for her compassion and deeply caring approach to life.We thank everyone for their kind expressions of condolence and prayers at this difficult time and offer a very special thank-you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital.A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Mary Ann on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St Leonard Church, 5332 Long Island Rd, Manotick. Fr. Joseph Leclair will be the celebrant. People are welcome to attend regardless of religious orientation. A reception will follow the mass in the church basement. Interment will be at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank St, Ottawa.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a donation to the Queensway Carleton Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Research Society.
