Mary Alice Amos-Patin

Mary Alice Amos-Patin of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 82. Her vibrant spirit and the warmth she shared left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Broussard and Lucille Broussard; her former husband, Joseph Landrus Amos; her husband, Simon Patin; her children, Landrus Amos and Prenella Amos; her granddaughter, Riquetta Amos; and her siblings, Ozema Broussard, Ernest Broussard, and Rufline Tolliver.

Mary Alice is survived by her siblings, Gerald Broussard, Dennis Broussard, Joyce Noel, Georgie Potier, Eva Charles (Harold), and Esther Davis (Emcy); and her children, Manuel Amos (Gwendolyn), Virgie Amos (Romario), Micheal Joseph Amos (Louis), Virginia Phillips (Cory), Renella Amos (Jory), Darrell Patin, and Steven Patin. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
