Marvin Erhardt Pauly

Marvin Erhardt Pauly, age 92, of Moltke Township, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 3, 1933, in Moltke Township to Erhardt and Elizabeth (Schaedig) Pauly, Marvin served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. On June 20, 1959, he married Joyce Orcutt at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he remained a lifelong member. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau. A dedicated farmer, Marvin found great joy in driving his tractor, tending his garden, and growing beautiful roses.

He is survived by his sons, Allen (Kathy) Pauly of Au Gres and Scott (Karen Spens) Pauly of Moltke Township; his son-in-law, Jeff Karsten of Moltke Township; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Thomas) Theodoran, Zachary Karsten, Elizabeth (Bradley) Denslow, Rebekah (David) Cramer, Cora (Levi) Floyd, Hope (David Jakpor) Pauly, and Ericka (Dominic) Tringali; six great-grandchildren, Amber Karsten, Calliope Theodoran, Jeremiah Denslow, Micah Denslow, Landon Floyd, and Greta Cramer; and two brothers, Harold Pauly of Grand Rapids and Warren (Deborah) Pauly of Presque Isle.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; his daughter, Kathy Karsten; his grandson, Jordan Karsten; his sister, Ruby (Raymond) Altman; and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Pauly.
