Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Bethel UMC Cemetery in Deville, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.Mr. Parish passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Sheldon and Georgia O'Neal Parish.A proud American, Marvin served his state and nation in the Louisiana Army National Guard. Following his service, he built a long and dedicated career with Dresser Industries, retiring after 37 years of hard work and loyalty.Marvin loved the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, or tending to his cattle, he found peace and purpose in the open air. His herd was his pride and joy-caring for them was not just a hobby, but a way of life that reflected his strength and steady nature.He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Glenda Dearman Parish; his son, Rickey Parish (Julie); and his grandson, Randy Colin Parish.Serving as pallbearers will be Barry Boatner, Michael Roberts, Jason Jenkins, Jimmie Belgard, Glenn Belgard, and Greg Simmons.
