Martin George Rodriguez III

Marty was a devoted son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his mother, Debra Vandiver (C. Gratton); his sister, Desiree Freeland (A. Freeland, J. Gelunas, J. Gelunas); his Aunt Emily Latorre (K. Latorre) and his Uncles Erik Latorre (D. Rastellini, A. Latorre and E. Latorre) and Angelo Latorre (B. Latorre).

Marty never met a stranger and had a gift for connecting with everyone he encountered. He loved live music of every genre and found pure joy in a crowd, moving to the beat and singing at the top of his voice. He embraced adventure and traveled often, sharing his journeys with great enthusiasm. Growing up in Florida, he cherished the natural world, spending many happy hours swimming and snorkeling in the state’s springs. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he could often be found on the golf course.

Marty built a career in hospitality, where he was deeply passionate about coaching and developing his colleagues to reach their full potential. Those who knew and loved him will remember the way he made them laugh, think, and feel. He will be deeply missed.
