Martha-Jane C. Toelken1936 - 2026WilbrahamFormer longtime Ludlow resident, Martha-Jane "Marty" Cynthia Toelken, 89, died peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hampden Post Acute of Wilbraham. Born in North Adams, MA, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Prudence (Davis) Toelken. A 1956 graduate of Springfield Technical High School, Marty graduated from Springfield Technical Community College. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many area medical facilities, and she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hampden.Marty will be deeply missed by her niece Linda Munson (Jay) of TX, nephew David Sanderson of FL, cousin Prudy Gravel of North Adams and brother-in-law Bill Sanderson of Wilbraham. In addition to her parents, Marty was also predeceased by her sister Beverly Sanderson.A Graveside Service will take place in the Spring. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
